A poor young soul, so bright and pure, had felt that no one should endure, the types of things some do each day, and thought there ought another way.

They saw the pain that others held, and couldn't help but feel let down, by fates that forced each life to suffer, with no time given to recover.

This plagued their mind; in deep it burned, a desperate wish, that'd change the world.
A wish for life to halt its pace, for folks to heal from what they face. A peaceful place for all to rest; a short time gone free from their stress.

And thus began a foolish mission, to make a creature grant their vision.

Trading youth to aid this cause, a life-time gone, they carried on. To do what many deemed absurd - now old and gray, yet not conquered. They persevered through plight and fear, right to the day that 'it' appeared.

With years of effort now proved fruitful - and short awareness of how useful - such a creature like 'it' could be, when mindful of dishonesty. As such a foe has just one goal, to find and grab at every soul. Not caring what its feats may fate, and racking tolls as compensate.

Now all good service has its fee, and 'scaping one's reality's never a wish charged reasonably.
And our poor soul, blind by the flurry, of their 'motions steadfast hurry, was engulfed by desperation, as their life-long ideation, materialized before their eyes, far above our human skies.

This creature did as it was tasked, far better than even asked. But that is how it traps and snares, by answering your every prayer. And our old soul was so impressed, they 'greed to fill its one request.

Promptly was produced a clause; and our old soul without a pause, hastily signed upon its line, unaware of its design. Hidden deep in its conditions, was the mention of additions - a little segment that proposed, the reaping of all wayward souls.

Once thought to help, to understand, to fight the fight as 'xcatly planned, had only saw a way to gain - to feed upon life's constant pain. With colors now vibrant and true, the creature told a brand new rule: that our poor soul would have to stay, and take the pain that's whisked away, from all the folks that need a savor; from everyone who can't be braver; about the hardships that they face, earning rest in
